The many stroller of Heidi Klum
|This is a post I have been meaning to do for a long time. Heidi Klum, Queen of all things Stroller, is only the mom of three kids. But considering how many strollers she has owned, you'd think she had an army. Here are some of her many choices.|
An orange I'coo Pico 4 Baby Stroller
A Maclaren Twin Rally Stroller in Scarlet Bubbles Fabric
A Maclaren Techno XT in Crimson
An Orbit Baby System
A Peg Perego Tender in Newport
A black Quinny Buzz
A Silver Cross Classic Sleepover Pram in Apollo
A green Baby Jungle X-Adventure Ranger
A black Bugaboo Frog

Meet the Ovum. An interesting name for a bassinet, yes? It's designed for Offi by Heidi Newell, who "wanted to communicate the care, joy and welcome that modern parents have for their newborns".
The basket on top allows visibility of the baby from any angle in the room. The bottom can be changed from a stationary position to a rocking one. And it's said to be great for parents with small spaces.
Get yours today at Baby Geared.

Mia Bossi “True Blue” Bags
This fall, diaper bag maker Mia Bossi will introduce it's "True Blue" line. The Reese Blueberry bag (second picture) retails for $180, while the super soft leather Maria Exotic Blue bag (first picture) is $590.
"We know blue is going to be a big color this fall, so we wanted to incorporate it into the line—but also spice it up with some metallic options," says designer Janet Lee. "After all, just because you’re carrying a diaper bag doesn’t mean it can’t be stylish!"
This spring, the $1,200 Italian Barolo leather Mia Bossi Audrey bag was snapped up by Madonna, Katie Holmes, Kate Hudson and Tori Spelling. And Maria is carried by Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, Anne Heche, Tina Fey, Regina King, Melanie Brown and Nancy O'Dell. It’s no wonder Mia Bossi is known as the “it” bag with celebrity moms!
Celebs and regular moms alike love Mia Bossi bags because with their luxury leather styling they don’t look like traditional diaper bags. They also feature a zip-out interior that transforms from a diaper bag to a purse to a computer bag—making a Mia Bossi the only diaper bag that’s actually three bags in one, and extending its shelf life far beyond potty training.
Currently, Mia Bossi bags can be found in Nordstrom’s, Barneys, A Pea in the Pod stores, as well as online at MiaBossi.com.

Salma Hayek looking pretty
Salma Hayek showed off her baby bump yesterday in Malibu while she shopped. The actress wore a black shirt that said "Stylish. Sexy. Prengant". I'm guessing that's from Naissance On Melrose (NOM) since that's their theme.

As you can see from this photo of Wyatt Crow, the little guy liked his gift.
You may recall that we posted a few days ago about a gift package sent to Wyatt and his mom, Sheryl Crow, from a friend at Milkshop.com. One of the gifts was a navy Splendid Mix Stripe Short Shelve Romper, which Wyatt is seen above wearing out to lunch Lucky's in Montecito, CA.

Sheryl Crowe and son Wyatt headed out to Malibu's Country Mart yesterday for some shopping and eating. Sheryl cuddled little Wyatt and even sang to him while waiting on a friend inside one of the stores. X-17 has all the photos.

That's Heidi Klum and her kids, Leni and Henry, pitching a fit in downtown Manhattan yesterday. The family was going for ice cream and apparently the children were getting impatience. The model mom said nothing about it though, as she walked along driving her Maclaren Twin Rally Stroller in Scarlet Bubbles Fabric.

Mel B shops for baby
Although she may be in the middle of a nasty paternity battle, that didn't stop singer Melanie Brown (aka Scary Spice) from doing a little shopping for her baby girl. Mel B stopped by hip L.A. baby boutique Bel Bambini over the weekend and reportedly spent a couple of hundred dollars on monogrammed burp cloths. She also picked up three sparking pacifiers at $63 each.

Celebrity Janie & Jack spottings
After visiting Janie & Jack today, I was given the lowdown by "someone in the know" about the recent celebrity spottings at various stores throughout the month of May.
- Larry Birkhead at the Louisville, KY store around Derby time. He had to fight past six strollers to get to the clothes.
- Reba McEntire at the Nashville store, buying gifts for her step-grandchildren.
- Jennifer Garner at the Santa Monica store on Montana Ave, shopping for clothes for Violet. Jennifer also shops at the Grove's Janie & Jack.
- Legendary soap The Young & the Restless chose Janie & Jack to dress Phylis's baby girl this week. The clothes were bought at the Grove's store.

The Mia Moda Cielo
Meet the Mia Moda Cielo, winner of the 2007 JPMA Innovation Award and the latest product to be reviewed by this great website. Test driving our Cielo for this post was Jadon, official Baby Chic 101 product tester.
Where to start? It's a wonderful creation. As you can see from the pictures, we started on the grass. Yes, it can ride on the grass. In fact it rides just as well on the grass as it does on the road. I have never known of another stroller that can do that. I pushed it through the grass for a full 5 minutes and never felt one bump.
As we tested it out, it was easy to see why such a stroller would win one of the most competitive baby product awards there is. It was so easy to maneuver. It turned corners so smoothly. It fact it could turn in complete 360 degree circles like they were nothing. And this was true for both the grass and the sidewalk.
As you can see, Jadon loved riding in it. He was all smiles through out the product test, never once trying to escape. I think the "no sides" part of the stroller allowed him to feel less restrained. It was more like sitting on the couch.
The sidewalk test went equally well. We pushed the Cielo down a few houses and back. It went over bumps great and turned complete circles. Afterwards, it folded up very easily. Not much effort was involved. We just pressed down on one button, then another, then folded one part forward and the other backwards and then it was done. And there was a nice carrying handle attached to the back of it for easy lifting.
I carried the stroller around in folded form by the handle for five minutes. It was about the weight of a briefcase. It non-folded form it was even more lightweight. And Jadon enjoyed playing with it like a toy when we were done product testing.
Overall, this is an extremely exceptional product. In a 10 point test, I'd give it a 15. And I don't say that often. I've had a lot of trouble with folding lightweight strollers in the past and moving them around. I was nearly left behind at the zoo once with three children on a train while trying to fold a stroller that will not be named for a good 10-15 mintues. Don't think I'd have that problem with the Cielo.
One other great thing: I was shocked by how many people in Louisville, KY loved it when they saw it. We're a fairly conservative, medium-sized town. I wasn't sure if we were ready for a modern style stroller, but every single person I showed it to LOVED it and wanted to know where they could buy one.
And if you're wondering where you can get one for yourself, try Albee's.
They carry the entire line.

On May 6 (yeah, I'm late with this) the ever-so-stylish Naomi Watts was seen by onlookers, shopping for maternity clothes at Destination Maternity in New York City. The actress stopped by the store's A Pea In A Pod special section and bought herself quite a few gifts that included the stripped red top you seen her in above.
She also bought the same top in peach, a pair of 7 Flip Flop Jeans, khaki cargo shorts, a Vince babydoll cardigan, a black cap sleeve dress by Velvet, and a blue Trapeze Tee.
