Stella McCartney launches collection for babyGap & GapKids

A new Stella McCartney collection created for babies & kids is about to launch at the Gap. The collection will be carried in select GapKids and babyGap stores in the United States and Canada, the UK, France and Ireland, and Japan, as well as online in the US. Look for it November 2.

Kourtney Kardashian's baby registries

Kourtney Kardashian has registered for her upcoming baby shower at both Bel Bambini and BabiesRUs. Check out the gift lists here and here.

Anyone know what's up with Babystyle?

A few months ago, we reported that Babystyle and the Right Start were both bought by a new company and were set to reopen. Well the Right Start has reopened, but Babystyle's website has yet to change. It's still the same "Coming Soon" picture. No stores have reopened that I know of, and their webstore is still gone. Anyone know what's up? If so, email me.

Kourtney Kardashian's bedding choice

As you may recall, we saw mom-to-be Kourtney Kardashian leaving Bel Bambini a few weeks back with some brochures of furniture and bedding. Well Ms. K has finally made her selection on the bedding, and she has chosen Argington Dinosaur crib and twin sets for new son.

Olive Juice

A great new kids company called Olive Juice has just opened up. With so many people in the children's industry shutting their doors, it's nice to see new companies come about. Especially one as fabulous as this. I love upscale, yet basic clothing for kids. All to often these everything has a label on it. Or some silly character. Not at Olive Juice. This is stuff you and I would want to wear if we were kids. Very classical, yet still modern and affordable and with great quality. Right now they're only in three stores, but you can buy their entire collection online at their website.

Adiri closes

Baby bottle maker, Adiri, is now gone. The company posted a message on their website today that they are closing due to financial pressures. You can still buy their products at various online and regular stores now, but you'd better hurry.

What bad economy? I've never seen a store expand as much as BuyBuyBaby has over the past year. They've now got stores in Arizona, North Carolina, Ohio, Florida, Georgia, New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Texas, and Virgina. Look for one near you soon, I guess.

Naleigh's stroller

You've probably been seeing as lot of photos lately of Suri Cruise in this dress. If you're wondering where it came from, it's by an Australian company called Polka and it's their Mini Maxi Dress.

Combi 2010

I didn't get to meet with Combi at the ABC Kids Expo this year, but I found these pictures on Goore's Flickr and Combi Strollers Store, which also has a lot of pictures of various new colors. First, the Strolee now has a seat, and a reclining one at that. Lots of colors. These are the new walkers. This is Cocorro Flash, which accommodates the Coccoro convertible car seat. Never seen a stroller like this before, unless you count the Orbit.

UGG teams with Where The Wild Things Are

UGG is planning to release some limited edition children's shoes featuring designs from Where The Wild Things Are. The Classic Short, featuring Max's Crown or Peeping Eyes and the Erin Baby Bootie featuring Max's Crown will be made available for pre-order only on Saturday, October 24th at the Columbus Ave. UGG Australia flagship location in New York and at www.uggaustralia.com.

Bugaboo's RED line, benefiting AIDS, is now available at Giggle. In fact, they even have their own exclusive limited-edition stroller set (above).

Medela 8oz bottles now available

BabiesRUS just got in Medela's 8oz BPA-free polypropylene bottles. These are brand new ones and the first time ever that Medela has had a larger bottle made of polypropylene.

Coolest Crib Ever?

Is it not? The Cascara Babycotpod is a bassinet/moses basket with a built-in hood and a retractable carry handle, supported on a ‘Tang’ stand available in either wood or plastic moulding. It's plush furnishings are completely removable and washable, not to mention all the cool colors (check them out on the homepage). And sadly for all us Americans, it's not for sale here. Hop across the pond to England if you want one, where they will be for sale after the new year.

Kourtney Kardashian and her sister Khloe were spotted shopping along Robertson Blvd earlier today for Kourtney's baby boy, dude in December. One of their stops was Kitson Kids.

JJ Cole acquires Fleurville

Earlier today as you watched Balloon Boy coverage, JJ Cole announced its acquisition of the assets of diaper bag producer, Fleurville. But not to worry. Fleurville isn't going anywhere. JJ Cole plans to continue the Fleurville range of products. They even plan to expand the range of products over time. And speaking of JJ Cole, that's their new Arctic Bundleme above. It's available in stores now.

I didn't get to see Inglesina at the ABC Kids Expo this year, but they now have their 2010 collection up on their website. Inglesina only has one website, so I'm not sure which products will be available in the USA and which will not.
