Maclaren 2011

I now have the press kit for Maclaren's 2011 collection. But first, Maclaren is looking for parents and children to review some of their Maclaren toys. The contest is being hosted on their Facebook page (www.facebook.com/maclarenbaby) and for parents to enter their child they just have to email them at maclarencontests@gmail.com. Now, onto the new stuff. The Volo will be getting a new look for 2011, complete with a new hood. Deep Water and Carmine Rose are two new colors. A new color for the Triumph is Crown Blue. A new color for the Quest is Carmine Rose. Also Deep Water and Denim. Techno XT new colors are Crown Blue and Bittersweet. New color for the Techno XLR is Persian Red. New Reversible Buggy Blankets: Hong Kong, Paris, NYC, London New Beach Bag. Charcoal Organiser. The new Field Bag/Smart Sets. The new Heart glider and ottoman for the Maclaren Nursery collection.

Maclaren 2011?

If anyone knows what products Maclaren has planned for 2011, please drop me an email. They didn't come to the ABC Kids Expo this year. They usually have neat stuff, so I'd like to see it.

Tripp Trapp Newborn Set

Stokke has introduced a newborn set for the Tripp Trapp highchair, which can be used from birth to age 6 months. The set features the detachable seat, a toy hanger and a 5-point harness. You can buy seat covers, toys and bibs in many different colors also.

Even though I had the domain name on auto renew, for whatever reason Godaddy decided not to auto renew it. Glad I saw this before someone else grabbed the name today! Anyhow, this site is back up! YAY!

J-Lo and kids at Gucci

Jennifer Lopez and her children Max and Emme headlined the Gucci Children's Collection premiere at the store in Beverly Hills yesterday. Max and Emme are the offical models for the new line.

Taga Stroller Bike

I first saw the Taga Stroller Bike live at the ABC Kids Expo this year. It really is a great stroller bike, seeing as you actually transform the bike into the stroller instead of detaching the carrier/stroller from the bike.

Inglesina Avio

Here is a Youtube video on Inglesina's new Avio stroller. It's a more modern take on the Zippy and it also looks a bit like the new Bugaboo Bee.

Uppababy Cruz

Uppababy's newest stroller will be debut next summer. The Cruz is a small, yet stylish and functional stroller. Its seat is the same size as the Vista's but the frame and wheels are smaller. It can take a car seat and can fold with the toddler seat on. Read more here.

Peg Perego Primo Viaggio Convertible Car Seat

Another new item from Peg Perego for 2011 will be the Primo Viaggio Convertible Car Seat. The seat will be for children 5 - 65 pounds and will come in four different colors. More info here.

Baby Jogger Hychair Hook

Baby Jogger will soon introduce the Hychair Hook, a set of hooks that allows you to use the seat of the City Select stroller as a high chair. It even allows the seat to recline and also comes with its own travel/storage bag.

Gossip Girl with special guest star, Argington

Have you been wondering where Gossip Girl gets their nursery furniture? Well wonder now more. The crib and bedding shown is from Argington. GG uses their BAM Crib and their Fish & Pebbles bedding.

Baby Jogger City Mini Stroller 2011

The new Baby Jogger City Mini model for 2011 is now out in stores. The big change is the new model features additional seat back support to help children sit up straighter. Apparently this was a common complaint with the old model.

ASTRA puts out Top Toy list

ASTRA (American Specialty Toy Retailing Association) has put out their annual Best Toys for Kids list for 2010. Over 500 of America's top independent and neighborhood toy retailers took part in compiling the list, which includes both infant and children's toys.

JPMA lists Innovative Products of 2010

JPMA has issued their list of the most Innovative Products of 2010. These 10 products are always the most exciting new products from the ABC Kids Expo.

Giggle Scottsdale Opening

Giggle will be celebrating its grand opening at Scottsdale Quarter on December 11 & 12, with free activities and treats. If you live in the area, you can read more about the event here.

The Pliko Mini is Peg Perego's newest stroller for 2011. Sadly I did not get to see Peg Perego at the ABC Kids Expo this year, but you can read all about the Mini here.

Bumbleride 2011

I did not get to meet with Bumbleride at the ABC Kids Expo, but they posted these pictures of their new products for 2011 on their blog.

The Kidco GoPod

Coming soon to Kidco is the new GoPod, a portable activity seat. It's like a really light and portable exersaucer/entertainer. You can strap your own toys to the handles on each side and there is also a set of cup holders on one side. It folds up tiny, to size of a portable chair. It should be out this month. Sweet William opens another store in NYC

Brooklyn baby store Sweet William has opened up a Manhattan store. This one is in the Nolita area, at 85 Kenmare Street. The store looks incredibly cool, especially the mouse house and bunny hole built into the wall.

Mountain Buggy 2011

I'm borrowing this picture from Magic Beans. They have a great post about it on their blog. It's the new Mountain Buggy Duet stroller that is due out next year.

Joovy 2011

Joovy had by far the most new items for 2011 displayed at the ABC Kids Expo this year. They are introducing three new strollers. The Dock is a car seat stroller that will work with most major brands. The Twin Dock is for 2 car seats. I did not catch the name of this new stroller, but look how nicely it folds. Joovy will also introduce a walker. And a highchair. This new play tent playard comes with a tunnel and a roof, both of which come off. A unique, triangle shaped playard. Some new colors for the existing playards. A fold-up cot for toddlers. A new diaper bag. Joovy will also be entering the world of bikes and cars. The toddler bike will have a handle for parents to use until the child is older. The balance bike is called the Bicycoo comes in several different colors. Both cars are battery-operated.
