The new glider from Maclaren/David Netto (the first one they have ever done) is now available. Bel Bambini has both the glider and ottoman in stain resistant cream tweed.

Rachel Zoe showed off her baby boy Skylar's nursery to ABC recently. Items include a Spot On Square Roh Crib, Oilo Cobblestone Crib Set in Taupe, an Oeuf Mini Library, Hermes blankets and pillows, and some Gucci baby items. *edit* Buy Modern Baby did a post on this that I just saw and they have figured out some more items.

Shiloh wears Stella McCartney

Angelina Jolie shut down an entire toy store earlier today in London when she stopped by with her daughters. Toy Station closed its doors for an hour while Angie purchased a fairy outfit for Zahara and a Viking helmet for Shiloh, along with a squirty camera, cap gun and a magic worm. Shiloh wears Stella McCartney's Horrace shirt and Jay sleeveless military style waistcoat.

Denise Richards has a baby shower

Denise Richards celebrated her baby shower over the weekend at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills. Celebrity friends included Tori Spelling, Mel B, Ali Landry and Allison Sweeney. Denise was also joinded by her father and all three of her daughters. The biggest gift of all: A pink Stokke Xplory.

Fisher-Price wants your help

Fisher-Price is looking for new ways to dispose of dirty diapers. They don't want your average disposal system that you see on the market today. They are looking for the next-generation. And that is where you come in. Fisher-Price has teamed up with Edison Nation to look for ideas from parent inventors. Product ideas may include disposal systems for both reusable and disposable diapers and should fit in the targeted retail price point of $30-$60. What is the Foonf?

The picture above comes from Safety Pop. And now onto the Foonf. Sorry there are no pictures, but Clek is keeping this thing top secret. Hopefully the upcoming ABC Kids Expo in two months will provide us with some. But I have come across some info on the new car seat. Foonf is going to be Clek's first second stage car seat, for babies 15 lbs and up. It will be similar to the current booster seats, but with a 5-point safety harness and the ability to be used both read and front-facing. Right now the expected release is in early 2012.

Bébé Confort Kamino

In my search for modern baby walkers, there was one I came across that was promising. The Bébé Confort Kamino walker is rather pretty, but of course not available in the USA. If you really want it though, Ebaby in the UK will ship it to you for 114 pounds ($184) plus the 74 pound ($119) cost of the walker.

$900 Stroller for Victoria Beckham

Even though she already has an Orbit and a Quinny Buzz, Victoria Beckham has gone out and purchased yet another stroller for her baby girl. Unable to get an ICandy Apple in purple (it's sold out), Victoria asked the company if they could make her a Peach (above) in purple. And they did. Beckham's stroller was custom colorized in the same purplish color used in her British baby shower.

Why are there no modern baby walkers?

Because there aren't. That's the one piece of gear that's missing from the modern baby world. We've got modern strollers (Orbit, Bugaboo, Phil & Teds, Quinny), modern car seats (Clek, Orbit, Maxi Cosi), modern highchairs (Nest, Oxo Tot, Bloom), modern bouncers (Bloom, Maclaren, BabyBjorn), modern playards(Phil & Ted's, BabyBjorn, Graco's element) and even a modern swing now with the Mamaroo. Bloom, Nursery Works, DucDuc, Monte and a ton of others have the furniture market covered. Skip Hop, Oxo Tot, Boon and Beaba make modern dishes, spoons and sippy cups. Hoppop,4moms and Boon brought us the modern bath. There are so many modern baby toy companies that I can't possibly name them all, and carriers and diaper bags are also aplenty. Yet a simple search for a modern baby walker, excersaucer, entertainer or jumper will get you nothing more than this prototype from Wonjune Song (Thanks BuyModernBaby). Why hasn't anyone created a modern entertainer yet? I think there would be a huge marker for it, seeing as no others exist. I guess we will have to keep waiting though, because I haven't even heard of a rumor of one.

Bellamy & Beckham babies get gifts

Victoria and David Beckham welcomed a healthy baby girl in LA this weekend, Harper Seven. One of many gifts set to the newest Beckham was the Little Giraffe "shower wower" gift set (above) in pink. Kate Hudson and fiancé Matt Bellamy also welcomed a healthy baby boy in LA on Saturday night. Gifts have included a Puj Tub and a blanket, blanky, hooded bath towel, and burpy from Little Giraffe's new Bella and Bella Brocade collections.
