My top 10 new products of 2011

These are my favorite products (in no particular order) that came out in 2011. Tomorrow I will make a list of the products I most look forward to in 2012. Actress Tia Mowry posted this photo on Twitter of her kitchen, now that her son has taken over. I see a Skip Hop Playspot, a Fisher-Price Oceans Wonder Jumperoo, a Prince Lionheart Bebepod and Bright Starts Lion in the Park Gym.

The Paul Frank Foonfs

After the Foonf made its official debut this fall, we were shown the 4 base colors (pink, navy, black and green). Now Clek has revealed the 3 Paul Frank special edition models. Hawk Julius, Heart Shades and Julius Stripe will also be released alongside the other 4 colors when the Foonf hits stores next summer. No actual date has been given for the release, but Clek has revealed some more details about the car seat.

JJ Cole's gear line coming soon

JJ Cole is allowing people to pre-order their new gear line, which is set to debut at select stores next week. The line will include JJ Cole's new Broadway and Monroe strollers, their Newport car seat and their Color Swap canopies for each. Also debuting soon will be their new bedding line and their Satchel diaper bag.

OXO's booster seat is now available

Oxo's Seedling Booster Seat debuted at the ABC Kids Expo in September and now it has hit stores. The seat is designed for kids ages 3+ who cannot yet reach the table. Since it has no seat belt, it's not a transition seat. Just a helpful boost for older children. It's also very portable, folding up and fitting inside most duffle bags or carry-ons. The cushion lifts out easily cleaning too.

Alicia Keys was spotted with her son Egypt last week, while Christmas shopping in SoHo. Egypt rides in a Mamas and Papas Mylo stroller in Black Jack.

Rory Craig, a student at the Art Center College of Design, created a pretty awesome car seat for a fourth term product design class. The Wing Man is a three-stage, carbon fiber baby car seat made for race car fans, who also happen to be parents. He is currently trying to pitch the idea to Sparco, whose straps he used.

Selma Blair loves Paige Lauren

So much so, she seems to have bought their entire collection for her son Arthur Saint Bleick. Above you the baby dressed in Paige's Long Sleeve Bodysuit in both sapphire and Ruby. He also has Paige's Classic Union Suit.

Fendi to create a stroller with Inglesina

After the success of their clothing range with Simonetta this year, Fendi is now once again going after the stroller market. This time Inglesina will design the buggy (above), as well as a pram and a baby carrier. All items will be sold in selected stores worldwide, but no release date has been given yet.

Babyhome hits shelves

Spanish baby company Babyhome is now available in the USA. Five of their products have debuted in stores, including Pish Posh Baby which now has the items available for shipping. Products including the Dream Minicot, the Emotion stroller, the Eat highchair, the Side bed rail and the Sweet Kit highchair/bouncer.

Ty Burrell's Mutsy

Ty Burrell's daughter Frances was spotted visiting the actor on the set of Modern Family this week. The little girl rides in a Mutsy 4Rider Light stroller.

Bebe au Lait debuts Lille line

At this year's ABC Kids Expo, nursing cover company Bebe au Lait debuted their new line of modern baby products. Here is our order of products, all nicely wrapped together and just out of the box. Lille means "small" in Danish and was designed with tots in mind. The prints are based off a charm owned by one of the company's founders. There are six prints total: Fishies, City Scape and Swirls, each in boy or girl print. The Blankie is not out yet, but will be soon. It actually starts life as a ball and then unfolds into a blankie for baby. Of course it can be folded back for play or travel. The Hooded Towel can be used for both bath and pool. It's a pretty big towel too, so it will last your baby a while. The Quib bib is a totally reversible, totally awesome bib. It snaps several different ways, giving you a total of four clean sides before it needs to be washed. Great for on-the-go travel or babysitting. There is nothing else like this out there. The Luxury Blanket is large, just like the towel. It is incredibly soft! Just like any luxury blanket you would buy. Except this one is machine washable, so it is much more practical.

Jessica Alba leaves Bel Bambini

Jessica Alba was spotted leaving baby store Bel Bambini this week in West Hollywood. Daughter Haven rides in a Britax B-Safe car seat. Jessica also owns the matching B-Ready stroller.

New Bugaboo fabric colors

Bugaboo will introduce three new special edition fabric sets for 2012, as they did they did this year. Jade Green, Electric Blue and Coral Red will coming in February for the Donkey, Cameleon and Bee. Nessalee Baby will be allowing pre-orders shortly.

Seraphina is all dressed up for Christmas!

Jennifer Garner and daughter Seraphina were spotted in Brentwood last week, and Seraphina was in the Christmas spirit. She wears Janie & Jack's Cherish The Season sweater.

Sprout Highchair available now in dark pink!

As we showed you at the ABC Kids Expo, the Sprout Highchair has a new color. The dark pink Sprout is now out and ready for purchase. OXO has it on their website.

4Moms on "How I Met Your Mother"

4Moms has been featured on the show "How I Met Your Mother" twice in the past weeks. The Origami stroller made its tv show debut, with Barney meeting a baby being pushed in one. The Mamaroo was featured on display at a baby store where Lily and Marshall were picking out gifts.

Valentine's Day clothing is hitting stores!

For those of you who like to live a holiday ahead, the Baby Gap just got in some VERY cute Valentine's Day clothing. I adore the baby boy robot stuff. And of course Janie and Jack should have their V-Day line out in the next few weeks.

Give Wink

I found this awesome little store while in the Miami area last week. Give Wink is located not far from the Aventura Mall, in a small shopping complex. They had several products on display that are not yet out, like the Origami stroller and the Skip Hop Zoo Playspot. In fact, they are one of only 35 stores that they will get the Origami in before next year. They are also they only place you can find Petit Nest furniture. Of all the stores I visited last week, I think this was my favorite.

The Broderick's matching Cybexs

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick stepped out with their twin daughters, Marion and Tabitha, this week in NYC. The girls ride in matching Cybex Callisto strollers.

Jonathan Adler Skip Hop celebrity sighting

Selma Blair was spotted with her son in Los Angeles last week, carrying a Jonathan Adler Skip Hop Duo diaper bag in Flame Yellow. The entire Jonathon Adler Skip Hop collection is now available for purchase online and in stores.

Pre-order the Foonf

If you're looking to be one of the first people to own the Foonf, then you may want to pre-order it now. Magic Beans is allowing people to pre-order it in 4 different colors. The Foonf is expected in stores next Spring.

New Medela Feeding Set coming soon

Medela has yet another awesome gift set coming out very soon. The Breastmilk Storage Solutions Set includes some great products for moms on the go, especially moms who work. It comes with 6 of Medela's new labeling lids and storage tray. The lids allow you to mark the day of the week the bottle was made, as well a.m., p.m. or midday. The tray holds up six bottles. Also included are six 5oz bottles, six 2.7oz storage bottles and 20 storage bags.

Another fan of the Fisher-Price Rock N Play

Model Niki Taylor recently gave birth to a son, Rex, and posted this adorable picture of him on her Twitter account. Rex sleeps in a Fisher-Price Newborn Rock N Play Sleeper, which was also spotted a few weeks ago in Tori Spelling's nursery.
