Janie and Jack sale

I love this time of year. All the sales going on. Janie and Jack are having their annual Season Finale sale, with lots of beautiful summer clothes reduced up to 60% off. Britney On Harper's Bazaar Magazine

I know this has very little to do with children's fashion, but we all need a good laugh once in a while. Yes, that's the new Britney. And with an August 2006 cover and feature story in Haper's Bazaar magazine. Brit does a variety of motherly shots with her son Sean and then some, well, semi- nekid ones. You can view all of the Britney photos here. Be mindful of the comments section, it gets a little strong. Obviously Britney was going for the Demi Moore look here. I guess she thinks that will help her image. But like all things Brit, it didn't go that well. She ended up looking like another fabulous raven-haired celeb instead.

Love these bibs!

I found this new company on the web and their designs are just too cute! Plus you don't find many long bibs that cover the entire shirt, protecting the arms and whole front of the outfit from spills. OOTS! is the name of the bib maker, and the company is out of Santa Fe, NM. It was started by two Dutch parents who relocated to the US and they call their designs "bbibs". So cute!

Plain Mary

I got one of these a few days ago and it is just so neat! The Plain Mary playmat is so soft and fun. It's made of quilted micro-suede fabric and comes in two different shades of a very pretty brown. Great for not showing spills. And it's so easy to fold up with it's pretty pink ribbon. Plain Mary mats can be found at Petit Tresor. Katie Holmes has one on her baby registry.

For all your European moms out there looking for a double stroller, here's what supermodel mom Claudia Schiffer drives. Claudia and her daughter Clementine were spooted out shopping in this Urban Detour Alpine twin 3-wheeler. Bonpoint: The New Black

For celebrity babies, there is a new store in town. Well actually, it's not new. It's been around for over 30 years. But it's the trendiest thing in Hollywood right now and it's called Bonpoint. The French baby and kid's boutique features their own line of traditonal European clothing with their own unique, modern flair. It's a huge hit with top mommies like Angelina Jolie (who bought lots of clothing at their Paris store), Britney Spears (who recieved their stacking bins as a gift at her shower), Gwen Stefani (who has been seen out and about with their handmade white blanket), and Elizabeth Hasselbeck (who bought dresses, bibs, and more at their NYC store). Bonpoint has five stores in the USA. Two in Manhattan, one in Boston, one in Palm Beach, and one in Beverly Hills. Check out their website for a store near you.

Baby Prodigy

These people will attending the ABC Kids Expo in September, as will I. Hope to see everyone there! A first look at Shiloh's crib

Thanks to a reader who sent this in. This is a picture taken today outside the Jolie-Pitt house in Malibu. It took me a little while to make sure it was legit, but it is. That's a Stokke Sleepi crib being delivered to their door. Shiloh seems to be getting a lot of super swaggy gifts. This is her third nursery, with Bellini and Kimberly Hall Kids designing her other ones.

Gwen's baby and his baby loot

There are pictures of Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale's new baby boy, Kingston up at justnodoubt.net right now. The family was photographed while leaving a medical center in Beverly Hills with the baby in tow. Kingston rode in a Graco SafeSeat, covered by a Camo Infant Car Seat Cover. The cover is sold at Pink Taffy Designs and is reversible. The blanket is from Bonpoint, which you can read spelt backwards in the last picture.

The Rock hosts a kids' fashion show

Former wrestler and current movie star The Rock (aka Dwayne Johnson) hosted the "Me and My Daddy" Mercy Foundation Children's Fashion Show yesterday in Miami. The Rock, pictured above with his daughter Simone Alexandra, attends the Mercy Hospital's fundraisers quite frequently and this year decided to actually host the event along with his daughter.

Orbit to add toddler seat to stroller

Ultra-hip baby company Orbit is going to add a toddler seat to their stroller. You many remember them for their funky, new age travel system pictured above. Well now that same exact system can be used for older kids too, because the company is developing two new seats for older babies which will attach to it. You can view drawn pictures of the seats on Orbit's website, however there are no actual pictures available yet and no date for their release has been given.

Gwen's gifts

Gwen Stefani has recieved several gifts for baby Kingston since his birth. One of those was bought at posh baby store Jen Klair Kids recently, and Gwen was said to be thrilled with it. That gift was Baby Bella Maya's leopard Bjorn carrier cover and a matching blanket. Baby Bella Maya is best known for their stylish carrier covers and their countless baby awards and JKK has quite a lot of their products. The covers can be ordered in both Original and Active.
